Davis Hill Weather Stick®

After many requests, the Davis Hill Weather Stick® is back in stock!

For the past fourteen years doing outdoor farmers' markets, the only reliable way to tell what the weather would be was to check the weather stick!

If it was horizontal there was a 50/50 chance it would rain.

Below horizontal and we weren't taking soap to market!

Who needs the weather channel or radar when a fir sapling weather stick is more accurate!

You might need to calibrate your weather stick if the tiny brad was put on the wrong side by mistake. If it points down when it's sunny out, spin it around the other way until it points down and it will acurately predict the weather from then on.

"Weather Sticks, from the folks on Davis Hill, will tell you what the weather is doing. With good weather about they point to the sky; and when things aren't so pleasant they will point to the ground. Folks on Davis Hill don't know why, but Old Timers had faith in them. Mount it outdoors with the nail up. Under an eave, on a window frame, or out on a garage wall. Anywhere where you can see it from inside. These country Weather Sticks are harvested at the right time of year and carefully prepared and dried. When first put up they will take a short while to get used to your house so be patient with them and they will serve you well for a long time. Some as long as 15-years so you won't need another for quite a while." 12-16" long.
